Flexiroam X is a fantastic solution in the form of a microchip 0.08mm in thickness that can literally stick-on your SIM card and use the Flexiroam X App for support.
This entry is dedicated for the usage of the mobile application (Flexiroam X)
1. Learn about your data
Look at your dashboard and see how much data have you utilized and how much is your remaining data. This will keep you alert especially when you roam.
From the main dashboard you can find out what is your data useful for. It is always important to know what you can and can’t do with the volume of data you have.
If you are a new user and you only have downloaded the app, you need to purchase the microchip and ensure that you install it correctly. You can place the order via the app, even without having the microchip.
3. Get extra data
From the dashboard, you can purchase additional data if you ran out. After you get your starter pack, you will have specific amount of data depending on which starter pack you get. Once you use it and as you run out of data, the App allows you to “topup” your data plan.
4. User Guide
On the dashboard, you will have access to the user guide and the details regarding the setting up process. But not to worry, a comprehensive user manual is included in your purchased package (the physical product).
This is helpful for further setup details, in case you need more support.
In addition to that, there is an actual support team that can help you through the setting up process.
5. Get free data
You can refer the app to a friend and you will get 100Mbs free data.
Say you are from Thailand and want to go somewhere. Use the app (as in the image) and find out if we have coverage in the areas you’re going to visit.
If you are going to Canada, you can tap the country name and you will be able to find out what network you can connect to in Canada.
7. Follow Trip Advisor’s travel updates
Our partnership with TripAdvisor allows users to follow up travel updates related to the country they visit or plan to visit.
8. Switching, Trouble shooting, and support
- You can switch off your home SIM card and switch to Flexiroam X
- You can connect to any of the listed networks – depending on what you like – No extra charges or varying roaming charges
- Get trouble shoot and technical support
9. Make VOIP calls
While keeping your original number, Flexiroam X connects to the local network and it will use a local identity number. You can make phone calls (VOIP) to any destination you want. This calls will cost you 10Mbs per minute.
Flexiroam is working on a much cheaper solution and will announce the new call feature sometime in the near future. However, it is more effective to make phone calls over WhatsApp or any other messaging app.
Our technology team is creating the magic behind the scene.
10. Manage your account
You can do many things in the account management dashboard, but mainly:
- Select the language you like
- Update your payment details
- Do your plan renewal
The App has a notification function to keep you updated if we have anything new, like App update, new packages, plans promotions, free data and anything else.
